CCG supporting Bird Day this weekend at Orangefield Park

Friends of Orangefield Park and Bloomfield Wildlife Watch invite you to Winter Bird Day on Sat, 26th January.
Come along to this free event and learn more about our feathered friends and their habits. There will be arts and craft workshops, mist netting, wildlife talks and much more. Activities are based around the bowling pavillion and run between 12noon - 3pm.

International Peace Studies students visit the CCG

Last week CCG welcomed students from Trinity College Dublin.

The students who are currently studying a masters in International Peace Studies got to visit Connswater Community Centre which is one of our outreach centres to hear all about our plans for the Connswater Community Greenway (CCG).

Avoniel Community Garden site preparation begins...

The site for the Avoniel Community Garden has been prepped and is ready to start work for the creation of the Avoniel Community Garden. 

Sean from the Connswater Community Greenway team met with members of Belfast City Council and local community groups to discuss plans for the Avoniel Community Garden yesterday. You can check out some of the snaps from this site visit in the CCG gallery.
