Connswater Community Greenway in finals of UK competition

The Connswater Community Greenway are delighted to have reached the finals of the The National Lottery Awards. The National Lottery Awards are the annual search for the UK’s favourite National Lottery- funded projects, and they aim to celebrate the inspirational people and projects who do extraordinary things with National Lottery funding across the UK.

There are seven projects competing for votes across seven categories, reflecting the main areas of National Lottery funding: arts, education, environment, health, heritage, sport and voluntary/charity and the National Lottery funds over 535,000 projects across the UK.

The Connswater Community Greenway is one of a few NI projects recognised in the final stages of the awards, including Culture Night Belfast in the Arts category, Blind Tennis at Windsor in the Sports category, HMS Caroline in the Heritage category and Slieve Gullion who are also in the Environment category.
