Bank Holiday Bonanza!

Most Northern Irish Bank Holiday weekends evoke memories of sand filled picnics on the beach, ice-cream in the rain, heavy traffic to Portrush and mainland UK getting the best of the weather. However, this Bank Holiday weekend past was something else!  

C.S. Lewis Square to host first cycling festival

Be inspired to get on your bike – whatever your age or ability – at Belfast’s first ever festival dedicated to all things cycling. Belcycle is a family-friendly festival taking place on Saturday 16 June under the watchful eye of Aslan the lion at C.S. Lewis Square in east Belfast.

Walk Wednesdays is back!

Starting Wednesday April 25th 11am!

Over the last year we've had great success with our weekly walking group and welcomed people from all different backgrounds and locations. It's been a delight to see friendships formed and hear the feedback from those that have come along to the walks. Come rain or shine (but not snow!) we've braved the elements week in week out as we explored the Greenway with our guide Trevor.  

Volunteers needed for Parc study

Queen’s University Belfast are carrying out a £1million study on the Connswater Community Greenway known as PARC (Physical Activity and the Regeneration of Connswater). The study is a ‘before and after’ evaluation of the impact of the CCG on the physical activity, health and wellbeing of residents living near the Greenway. Further information can be found here.
