Politicians get update on CCG project at breakfast

The quarterly EBP (East Belfast Partnership's) Politicians Breakfast Briefing took place this morning. This briefing provides an opportunity for our local elected representatives to be updated on the various projects being undertaken in the Partnership. Attending the breakfast included Rt. Hon. Peter Robinson MLA First Minister and Lord Mayor of Belfast Alderman Gavin Robinson.

Andrew Hassard (Belfast City Council) began by updating the attendees, including representatives from both Belfast and Castlereagh Councils, on the CCG project revised draft programme.  Rivers Agency representative Pat Aldridge gave an update on the combined Flood Alleviation works as part of the CCG project.

Wendy (CCG Programme manager) gave an update on the overall project including the forthcoming information sessions. There was also an update on Holywood Arches Trader Network and the upcoming information about the new CCG Trails.

Sean (CCG Community Engagement Officer) provided an update on the Avoniel Community Garden. Work on the garden is currently in progress.
