CCG supporting Bird Day this weekend at Orangefield Park

Friends of Orangefield Park and Bloomfield Wildlife Watch invite you to Winter Bird Day on Sat, 26th January.
Come along to this free event and learn more about our feathered friends and their habits. There will be arts and craft workshops, mist netting, wildlife talks and much more. Activities are based around the bowling pavillion and run between 12noon - 3pm.

Go to the Belfast City Council website to find out more.

Did you know?

Did you know that there are 77 species of birds identified along the greenway route. There are also 4 species of bat, badger and hedgehogs. Take some time to feed them this weekend as temperatures drop and food is hard to find.

(Some of the birds that have been found along the Greenway route. Can you name any of them?)

What birds have you seen on the greenway route? Let us know on CCG Facebook and Tweet us @ConnswaterCG. If you have any pics send them to stephanie@eastbelfastpartnership.org

Better still go out along the greenway route using our handy trails guide and map and don't forget to let us know how you get on!
