Avalon House Closed Until Further Notice

EastSide Partnership staff will, as a response to Covid-19 and in light of the latest UK Government advice, from Thursday 19th March begin working from home. As such our offices at Avalon House will be closed until further notice.

Ballymacarrett Walkway improvement work commences

Work to deliver environmental and cycling infrastructure improvements on Ballymacarrett Walkway begins on Monday 17th February and will continue until Summer 2020.

To limit disruption to users throughout the construction period the intention is to close off the Walkway in phases.  During this time the Walkway will only be partially accessible, with diversions through Severn Street for cyclists and pedestrians (routes will made clear via signage displayed at the site throughout the build period).

Love Your Greenway 2020

Our annual #LoveYourGreenway campaign begins on Monday 10th February and finishes with our amazing Love Your Greenway Fayre on Saturday 15th February.

We are seeking a highly motivated & organised individual to join our staff team as Community Project Officer.

The role will support the work & development of EastSide Greenways:

  • Support the delivery of the Connswater Community Greenway strategic objectives
  • Engage with the community & stakeholders in relation to Connswater Community Greenway and a wider network of EastSide Greenways
  • Support the delivery of an annual animation programme

Ballymacarrett Walkway improvements – public information sessions

Date: 5 Nov 2019 - 6 Nov 2019

Time: 10am - 2pm and 3pm - 7pm

Venue: Connswater Community Centre and Dee Street Community Centre

Detailed designs for environmental and cycling infrastructure improvements along the Ballymacarrett Walkway stretch of the Comber Greenway (to be delivered in 2020) will be available to view at public information sessions in November.
